Anchor on same page as reference

Hi there

I want to add a pop-up to an anchor on the same page.

So for example, go to this page: https://wp-post-modal.allureprojects.com/modal-content/

then add <p><a class="modal-link" href="#anchor">Anchor on this same page</a></p>

You will see instead of opening the anchor in a pop-up, the page just scrolls to the anchor as it would with a normal link.

Could you make it so that even if the anchor is on the same page, it still opens the anchor in a pop-up?

Also could this pop-up load instantly as it’s the same page as the page the user is already on?

I would really appreciate it if you could add this soon.
