an error occurred while processing this directive

Hi everyone..

I’ve spent the better part of the morning trying to resolve this.. This website is hosted with Hostmonster, along with another website and both of them all of a sudden went down in the last couple days and yield a [an error occurred while processing this directive] error when trying to get onto them. I can’t even access the admin page.

I have checked and rechecked the htaccess files and folder permissions – which is mainly what the searches for this issue recommend. I’ve gotten nowhere.

Anyone have any ideas? Hostmonster is useless and they said this issue is on my end and not their problem to fix – though I highly suspect it was something they did, otherwise both sites wouldn’t be down at once. FYI, I have done no recent updates or plugins and everything was working a couple days ago.
