    Hey @akingbenga,

Have you tried using our option Homepage in AMP settings?

Please try it and let me know if that solves your problem or not.

I did. It is still not rendering the homepage as on main website. It is showing text but not the elements displayed by theme’s builder.

    Hi @akingbenga,

Thank you very much for using our plugin.

We have made the plugin in such a way that it automatically adapts the content from your main site and convert it to the AMP markup.

However, since you are using a Page Builder it is very much difficult for AMP to catch that markup and convert it into its own markup automatically. There are many page builders available in the market and the way they output the content is very different.

That is a big problem in AMP. But we are trying our best to crack this impossible thing of making AMP compatible with all these page builders, so to solve this we came up with the solution called ‘Custom AMP Editor’. which is available beneath the WordPress page/post editor. With the help of that editor, you will be able to control the output of the AMP content. So I recommend you, to use that option.

We have also added the pagebuilder that can be useful for you as well.

Let me know your thoughts on it.

    Regards

I have followed all instructions but I still cannot get AMP to display the builder elements from my main site 🙁 🙁 I believe that I am stuck at “STEP 3: Now that page will become the AMP Page Builder compatible.”. What do you do after that to create builder elements ? I had gone to “Design” in AMP admin settings and clicked “Launch Post Builder”. From there I went to “Customizing ▸ AMP
Design” and designed the frontpage. I saw it in editing draft but when saved and published, I still dont see the built elements in AMP mode.

    Hi @akingbenga,

That’s not the way to use the AMP Pagebuilder.

Have you check this tutorial? https://ampforwp.com/tutorials/page-builder

    Hi ampforwp,
My homepage still has critical errors and doesn’t show as AMP.

    Hi ampforwp,

I thought I had all the updates installed, but no. I’ve updated. So I hope tomorrow Google will be recognizing the change 🙂

    Thank you 🙂

“That’s not the way to use the AMP Pagebuilder. Have you check this tutorial? https://ampforwp.com/tutorials/page-builder”. Yes I have read that tutorial many times and followed each step. If I had missed something it would be useful if you pointed it out rather than retorting “that’s not the way to use the AMP Pagebuilder”. Not to mention that your instructions on that link are very convoluted and confusing. You even said in the tutorial “I may seem confusing in the beginning, but once you start to use it, you’ll get used to it.” Yes you are very very confusing. Your tutorial makes no sense. I followed it and I posted that I am stuck at Step 3. The least you can do is provide a clear and practical instruction to go forward and successfully implement.
You took the typical arrogant developer stand instead. Anyway, if you cant point out what I might have done incorrectly thats fine. I can live without the AMP craze.

    Hi @akingbenga,

I apologize for the inconvenience and my ignorance.

I am not being arrogant, I am sorry if you feel that way.

Please tell me exactly what steps you followed, so that I can guide you if you went somewhere wrong.

I apologize again if you feel bad with my response.

Thanks and pardon me for being glib. So I had followed all the steps specified in https://ampforwp.com/tutorials/page-builder/ and I have made sure to do these at least 3 times now. I sum,

    1) I had set up the widgets in the AMP Page Builder Widget area in Appearance >> Widgets
    2) I had gone to “Design” in AMP admin settings and clicked “Launch Post Builder”.
    3) From there I went to “Customizing ▸ AMP Design” and designed the frontpage.

When I got to “STEP 3: Now that page will become the AMP Page Builder compatible.” of your instructions, I only saw the homepage in the draft but when saved and published, I still dont see the built elements in AMP mode.

To save time and angst I am prepared to provide you with temporary admin access to my blog to see what’s going on. Thank you sir.

    Hi @akingbenga,

I guess the problem is due to step 2.

Go to Posts-> Edit the page which you have set as Frontpage-> Here on the right side you will an option “AMP Page builder” click on it and assign Page builder to it and save.

    It will solve your problem.

If not, then please contact us at team@magazine3.com. I will do it for you.

    Regards

I assume that when you wrote “Go to Posts-> Edit the page which you have set as Frontpage->” you meant “Go to Pages -> …”. I did as recommended and still not showing the homepage elements. I am going to email you admin creds.

Before you install, know that Support for this plugin is awful. They keep telling you the same thing over and over like a robot even after you indicated that you have already tried those steps. After going through the horrible hoops the best they could do this morning was to send me the same standard message that started it all 2 weeks ago (see earlier in this thread): “so to solve this we came up with the solution called ‘Custom AMP Editor’…” These idiots did not consider my many responses that I had taken the very steps recommended. Worse still they asked me to send a temporary WP Admin info which I did about over a week now. You would think they would go in and look at the problem rather than regurgitating the same mothafkn standard answer that does not one any help. What a horrible support for a horrible plugin.
