  • @vejapixel thanks for reaching out!

    Could you tell me which mode of the plugin you’re using or provide your site URL?

    If Reader Mode, are you using the AMP Legacy theme? Note that the other Reader Mode Themes (added in version 2.0) available provide a menu for the AMP header.

    Me using Reader Mode with the Legacy theme.
    Yes, I noticed that the other themes have a menu option, but my theme (ReHub) is not compatible with these other themes (when I select them, the layout of the posts breaks a little).

    Is it possible to insert a menu in the Legacy theme?

    @vejapixel thanks for your reply!

    I’m curious- does the Rehub theme provide its own page builder or are you using the WordPress (Classic or Gutenberg) editor for your posts?

    The legacy theme does not provide a header menu by default, but you could explore this plugin by one of our colleagues which can provide an AMP sidebar menu on AMP pages (among other features).

    For the posts, I use Gutenberg (but I will activate the Classic, because I think Gutenberg is very bad). The Rehub theme is compatible with Elementor, where we can create post templates with this plugin.

    The plugin you provided “AMP Sidebar Hamburger Menu”, has little installation, is not compatible with the new version of WordPress and the last update of the plugin 2 months ago (https://prnt.sc/wkkknn). I don’t like using a plugin where developers abandon the plugin and update very little.
    Do you know any other good plugins, or some solution to insert the menu via code?

    @vejapixel thanks for the reply and details!

    In general, posts created with the WordPress editor should render just fine with the new Reader mode themes. Elementor is currently not fully AMP compatible, so if you notice display issues when using it on AMP posts then that could be involved.

    If you are using just the WordPress editor on your posts, could you send us a screenshot(s) of the areas where there are display issues with a new Reader theme? Please also let us know if you are using any specialized blocks that may come with your theme or another plugin.

    Also, note that the AMP sidebar menu plugin is still actively being developed and has an update coming soon.
