AMP Google Search Console critical errors

I recently installed AMP and then deactivated it and then deleted it when Google Search Console (GSC) flagged up errors. Now GSC is still flagging up 28 errors even though the plugin has been removed from my site. I’ve checked and there’s no folder in the File manager. Here’s an extract –

First of all, I want to tell you that can you please install the AMPforWP plugin and you don’t need to worry we will fix those error for you.

Can you please contact me on team@magazine3.com so I can solve your issue personally.

Regarding Google search console still showing an error after deleting the plugin, so its because Google generally takes 3,4 days to recrawl the pages so you can wait so google can index your pages again.

But if you contact me personally I will make sure that your issue gets fixed and you will able to use our plugin smoothly.

I’ve seen the same error. The attribute ‘width’ may not appear in tag ‘hr’

Is this something AMP for WP is supposed to fix?

I have one more question: Using AMP for WP, my edit pages have a new edit window where I can import the page. Would such an error be removed when I import a page into the AMP edit window?

I’ve since learned that it was the <hr > tag. It stands for ‘horizontal rule’, and if it has a width attribute, like this: <HR ALIGN=”LEFT” WIDTH=”50%”>, then it’s a serious error. I don’t have an example right now, because I removed the ones I found.
