Hi Michael, I had the same error but when I test the page with the Google AMP tool the pages tested OK so I just resubmitted them for re-indexing and the following day the ‘AMP Error’ had totally disappeared from GSC. (Luckily I only had seven pages with the issue.)
I suggest doing the same as above for a few of the pages and seeing if the above clears the issue.
Thanks, I Also See That
Hi @michaeldw,
Thanks for bringing this up. I also saw the issue, where AMP URLs like the ones you linked to had a 301 (redirect) to the non-AMP URL:
https://www.discoverwalks.com/blog/what-to-do-in-luxembourg-gardens-in-paris/amp/
Are you using caching? When I try to force a non-cached response by appending a random query var like ?a=1, it looks like the AMP URL appears:
https://www.discoverwalks.com/blog/what-to-do-in-luxembourg-gardens-in-paris/amp/?a=1
Hello Ryan,
Thank you for your help, I really appreciate.
The major change I had recently is that we use Sucuri for 2 weeks and it seems that it is using caching. I had to empty it last week because it was creating CSS errors.
Screenshot of things I can change:
https://ibb.co/hWDaGd
https://kb.sucuri.net/firewall/Performance/caching-options
For the rest, there is nothing new on the blog except Mediavine ads (a publisher) but it doesn’t seem to be related.
WP-Optimize 2.2.4 which we have for a long time doesn’t seem to cache…
What would be your advice at this point? follow @chilling and resubmit with Search Console?
@chilling
Thank you for your help! I guess I need to resubmit the pages and see what Search Consoles tell me…
Michael
Hi @michaeldw,
Thanks for your screenshots and detailed information.
Would you be able to clear the cache and try an AMP URL like:
https://www.discoverwalks.com/blog/what-to-do-in-luxembourg-gardens-in-paris/amp/
Hi @ryankienstra,
I removed the cache on Sucuri and tried the link with /amp/ and it is still redirecting to https://www.discoverwalks.com/blog/what-to-do-in-luxembourg-gardens-in-paris/
It is indeed a bit strange to see it’s working with /amp/a=?=1 or whatever parameter at the end..
Michael
Hi @michaeldw,
Sorry for the delay. Would you like to see if flushing permalinks helps? You might know how to do this. But otherwise, it’s /wp-admin > Settings > Permalinks > Save Changes (no need to actually make a change).
Hi @ryankienstra,
I went to Wp-admin/settings/permalinks/ and I saved the changes but I still have the problem.
As @chilling suggested, I tried to resubmit the 40 pages but Search Console rejected these AMP pages.
Thank your for your help,
michael
EDIT: I tried to resubmit after a slight change (redirection related) and waiting for Google to accept, I let you know how it goes

My original issue might be completely unconnected but since the original pages were rejected by Google and accepted the second time, I have no further problems and the number of indexed AMP pages of our site continues to grow.
For reference:
Google is showing 414 Indexed AMP Pages since 27 May 2018 (ie nearly eight weeks) out of a total circa 1,800 pages of indexed pages on our site. So it is taking GSC a while to get around to finding and listing AMP pages even when an AMP sitemap has been added manually to GSC.
Thank you for your answer, I will see how it goes in the future. My issue is that it didn’t recognize AMP url that used to be AMP so I guess it’s different…
Hi @michaeldw,
Thanks for your patience. It looks like the change that you made might have helped. For example, this page looks good, and has no AMP validation error:
https://www.discoverwalks.com/blog/what-to-do-in-luxembourg-gardens-in-paris/amp/
Let me know how the submission to Google goes.
