    Thanks for asking. I’ve just released version 1.3.17 with improved AMP compatibility.

    The plugin now detects AMP requests and skips its frontend image sizing script on AMP pages. The image URL replacement still happens, and when used with the official AMP plugin, the AMP plugin can convert the output to valid AMP image markup such as amp-img or amp-anim.

    I tested this with the official AMP plugin and direct PNG, SVG, and GIF image URLs, and the AMP validator passed in those tests.
