Amazon S3 cloudfront for download store

Hi, I’m currently setting up a download store. I would like the downloads to be accessed directly from the S3 servers. The plugin cart I have forces the downloads to route back through my host server unless I unencrypt the url address for product file. I’m wondering if this is going to be the case with all wp cart plugins or if anyone knows a work around or option that could function where the product download could be accessed directly through amazon S3.
