Alternatives to Article Templates

Does anyone know of any alternatives to the article templates plugin? It was the perfect solution for what I was needing for my website, but it no longer seems to work. I have a website that has several posts that start with the same wording and links, and this would save me a lot of time. Any leads welcome.
