Alternate Heading problem with Umlauts

    Hi,

    firstly thank you so much for this great plugin.

    I would like to substitute a heading that has some Umlauts in it (ä, ö, ü) and the lines that have an Umlaut in them do not get changed. If I take away the Umlaut, it works but that is not really feasible in this case.

    Do you have any idea what I can do to get this working?
