    Hi,

    thanks for your post.

To be honest, I’m not sure if I understand. You can easily sort the table on the “Edit” screen, to get it into alphabetical order, or let the viewer do it with the sorting on the frontend.
If that’s not it, can you maybe explain your idea in more detail? Thanks!

    Regards,
    Tobias

Thank you for your quick response Tobias…
Here’s a link that will show you what i’m trying to do

The sorting you’ve provided for each column is also very helpful.
The first column will contain project names.
Since there are many rows in my table, it will be easier for the browser to see data in alphabetical order – where data can be sorted by letter.

Hope this helps explain it better?

    Hi,

    thanks for the link.
So, what you want is the nav bar above the table with all the letters in the alphabet that allow the user to jump to a certain row in the table?

That would indeed be a really nice feature, but unfortunately, I don’t really know how this could be achieved 🙁 It is likely possible by extending the JS in the external DataTables JS library (that TablePress uses for the sorting, filtering, pagination, etc.), but unfortunately, I don’t know how that would need to look like 🙁

    Tobias
