I think this is one of the best document library plugins out there. However, there could be some improvements
- It’ great that you can drag and order files in FileBird. Why isn’t one of the ordering options to be the sort order in filebird?
- Would be great to have fine tune control of the UI. Ie… show/hide Title, show/hide the toolbar under the title.
- For some reason “file size” column doesn’t display anything. Would be great to show/hide that as well 🙂

Thanks for the nice review!

So, just to address your concerns;

1. Presently, you can drag-n-drop folders to arrange, but we do not presently have drag-n-drop option for sorting files, but what we do have is a set of multiple, advanced sorting options like this:

Note:
Our dev team have gotten this suggestion and we will implement it in a future update.

2. We already have this feature in the PRO-version only, you can see how it is possible to toggle show/hide titles and other columns:

3. We have this feature. You can access the file size column, by first clicking to Generate like this (one-time action only):

Shame on the sorting. There are many instances that you need to define the order of files, that aren’t related to date or name.

For the other requests. I have highlighted the 3 sections that it would be great to have the ability to show or hide. Also notice the size column not showing any data in this screenshot.

Thanks for the feedback and your reference!

Let me clarify that you can hide these extra column options from your screenshots 3rd highlight when you use the List view mode :

Every other thing else can be hidden via CSS, we can give you all the CSS needed, if you want.

And for the size issue, this is clearly a bug, that we can check for you if you reach out to our dev team. As you can see, it is working for me:
