Almost Brilliant

Master Slider has the potential to be the best slider on the market by a long shot. It is almost brillant but has some huge flaws.

1. There are no settings presets. This makes it almost unusable. The authors told me “duplicate an exisiting slideshow.” Sorry that’s not even close to being the same thing. Without user presets it’s unusable if you have a lot of slideshows that share settings. Change any one of the myriad settings and you’re spending 30 minutes updating them all, something that should take 5 seconds.

2. The whole product is buggy. This is surprising as it’s very ambitious, but a lot of things don’t work properly when you start combining functions. Reign it in a bit and make sure everyhting works.

3. Captions are extremely versatile but they’re a pain. Give us one panel to quickly edit captions across the board.

Overall it’s almost a materpiece. It needs user presets for settings to be usable though.
