A quick search of WordPress Extend revealed a plugin that may work: TinyMCEComments. I haven’t tested it, but it appears to add the Tiny MCE editor to your comment form.
Hey there,
as the infos and user-comments say, the plug-in doesn’t work with wp 2.9 or higher…
Is there another plug-in for the same purpose?
Thanks taylorde, I’ll have a look at these now and see if they do what I need.
@taylorde:
It’s a pity, but the download-link on the site you posted refers back to the same plug-in that it is only compatible up to WP 2.8.4
@breadmurderer:
Did you try it already? Does it work somehow on WP 2.9?
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/pretty-comments/ <- Worth a shot, it worked for me before I moved to WordPress 3.0 Beta.
Wow!!
Great! That’s it. Thanks, Snat.

Hello!
I would like the users of my blog to reply to posts in much the same way as a post is created i.e. format text, insert image, etc.
Is this possible at all? Would be great. Doesn’t have to be as complex as creating a post but customising text and linking (doesn’t need to upload – but that would be cool) images. It is an internal blog so no need to worry about rogue spammers clogging it with rubbish.
(Actually much like the way I just posted this! :-D)
Any thoughts or is this just too much?
Cheers,
Dan
