    Is it possible to add “Add Media” button to the top of the group page editor? I need to let my group admins upload and insert images into their group pages. I know they can manually go to the dashboard upload the image and then insert the url, but it would be nice to be able to just click the add media button.

    Yes, it is possible, but implemeting own solution might be insecure.
    Not sure how WordPress will handle uploads from front-end by users, that don’t have the rights. I’m referring to situation when users (groups admins) are no contributors/authors/editors/admins – they can’t upload files.
    That might be a question of tweaking WordPress roles and capabilities. Need to investigate this.

    In my case it’s no problem if the users are authors as well and the button be conditional on them having author or above permissions.

    @ccourtne,

    In the live demo, it doesn’t allow a regular member to upload media to a Group, but it is possible. Btw, I have no skin in rtcamp’s business but their plugin may address your request?
