All order numbers suddenly changed

I have one issue with my WooComerce and couldn’t find solution or even what could cause this problem. My store was functioning as usual but suddenly I found out that all order numbers changed at once to much higher values (not only new ones but all historic orders from the beginning, over 1500 orders).

This causes troubles with customer service, clients give me old number and I can’t identify the order.

This is odd, and I understand how frustrating it can be.

Just to clarify, is there any custom code, or plugin, currently in place that would alter the default order numbering of core WooCommerce?
