    Hi,
    updateting All In One WP Security & Firewall to the last version Rest API stops working on my website. I’v never checked “Disallow Unauthorized REST Requests:” but i have to disable the plugin to fix this issue. It’s a bug or it’s my fault?

    Hi,

    There might be a conflict with one of the features. Can you enable the plugin and disable all Firewall Rules. Then carry out a test. Let me know what happens.

    i’V tried 🙂 I disabled all firewall’s rules but WordPress Site Health still say me that Resp Api is broken. I’v tried to uninstall and reinstall the plugin but nothing.

    Sure, i’m using nginx/1.18.0 and php 7.4.8.

    I’m using this software to block bad requests: https://github.com/mitchellkrogza/nginx-ultimate-bad-bot-blocker.
    I’v also enabled fail2ban and ModSecurity.

    i’m using nginx/1.18.0

    That could be the reason why you might be having this issue.

    AIOWPS currently only supports Apache-type servers for the features which need to write .htaccess directives – eg, Firewall features, Blacklist feature etc. Do you have any features that write to the .htaccess file active in the plugin settings?

    Yes, you’re right 🙂 My fault.
    Nginx as Proxy. I’m using Plesk with nginx for Static Resources and Apache for dynamics.

    Hi, unfortunately I am not able to test your setup because I only use an Apache server.

    I have submitted a message to the developers to see if they can investigate this issue further.
