ALL in ONE SEO plugin

Im getting confused with on how search spiders crawl a web page and please correct me, but if for example my web site has widgets that is used with a text widget and a posts widget,this is all viewable when you look at web site at start of web site.

You will see if you look at my website it shows the posts (post widget) on the right and the About Virtual Tours (Text Widget on the left )

Now to my understanding it looks like the widgets on the home page and to my knowledge the home page content is in root EX: http://www.virtualtours360.co.za/

Well why im mentioning this is that my home page has no content at all not even title name nor meta description and meta keywords. Do you know if search spiders crawl the widgets text as well even thought there is no content on my home page ?

Do you think its better to have content rather on home page ? as it gives more weight on search engine spiders ?

Last question is there a difference between home page title and web page title ? Currently when you look at the source details of my web site my title is “Virtual Tour Photography Durban South Africa 360 Virtual Tours” that the i added in the All in ONE SEO plugin option that says home title. I also tried your recommend SEO plugin as well and when you go to word press to pages>home> there is no details added in there like home title content and no description and keywords.

I thought when you set the home title in the All in One SEO plugin it will add the data in home page.
