Have you tried floating them left with CSS?
No, is it possible to float a short code in the HTML editor?
An example of the code,
[wp_cart_display_product name="Black GM T-Shirt" price="15.00" thumbnail="http://www.example.com/example.png" description="Black B&C T-Shirt With White GM Logo" var1="Size|Small|Medium|Large|X Large" shipping="1.99"]

Briefly looking I can’t find information about shortcode usage and limits in their documentation, but you can have a look and post a new thread in that plugin’s subforum about this: http://wordpress.org/support/plugin/wordpress-simple-paypal-shopping-cart#postform

I think you install a plugin that manages your CSS for this, for example a plugin like http://wordpress.org/plugins/custom-css-manager-plugin
