Album Not showing
-
I installed the plugin, setup and entered API key and secret key. Entered flickr album title and user id. When I enter the shortcode on a new page nothing appears.
I have one gallery and entered the following to display it on the new page:
[gallery type='flickr' view='galleries']
Can someone advise? I went back and looked over all my details but I don’t understand what I could’ve done wrong.
The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Well, for starters, your user is is required. Secondly unless you are dead sure that you have galleries (less than 10% Flickr users do) I believe what you really want to display are photosets.
Also, there are multiple places where there are links to documentation that might be able to help – here on the plugin page, in your WP administration page under Photonic → Getting Started, and when you try to insert a gallery using Add Media → Photonic. Sorry, I am not at a computer so I cannot troubleshoot further.

Now that I am back at a computer, please see here for usage on how to display an album (photoset), and here for gallery.
If you are trying to display either, you will need to provide your
user_idas a parameter to the shortcode. You can get your user id from Photonic → Helpers. Also, you mention:
Entered flickr album title and user id.
Where did you enter this information? Photonic doesn’t have any place in the back-end to capture this and can only handle this information via the shortcode, hence I am curious. Also Photonic needs your album ids, not your album titles, since the Flickr API doesn’t accept album titles.
My apologies, you’re right, I didn’t set up galleries, but photosets/albums instead. It’s displaying now. Thanks a lot for the speedy reply Sayontan.
