  • Try upgrading to the latest version of the plugin and let me know if events continue to not display.

In the future, please be sure to tag comments with ajax-event-calendar
that way I will be sure to see it.

    Thanks,
    Eran

Thanks for the reply; yet updating the plug-in has not resolved the issue.

Again, events are not posting when the events page of WP is loaded; yet if you click on the days and “open” Ajax’s features – the events show.

Your thoughts? Human error? Thanks! Sarah

    Hi Eran,

It seems users are not able to view the blocked-style calendar now. That was a change since I re-installed? Therefore, errors in the last week include no calendar showing and when it is showing events not posting until calendar day clicked on…

    Your thoughts? Thanks! Sarah http://www.sevasisters.com/wp

I just checked and you are not using the latest version of the plugin 0.9.8.6 – install the new version and if you still encounter a conflict (the calendar doesn’t show), try following the instructions in this post.

    Eran

A new beta has been released for those interested in testing and confirming that it works see this post for details.

Plugin version 0.9.9.1 is now available for download.
@sarahciotti: Once you’ve upgraded the plugin, please let me know if you continue to experience problems.

Thanks! I still can not seem to get the calendar to work. Sorry, I must be simple. LOL I deactivated, re-installed and updated. Your thoughts?

    Thank you – Eran, Sarah

    Sarah,
I just checked and your site is still running ajax-event-calendar v0.9.8.1
you may want to try updating the plugin again, you last update does not appear to have worked.

Still no go. Here’s the plug-in info when I open it –

    Plugin URI: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/ajax-event-calendar/
Description: A fully localized community calendar that allows authorized users to manage events in custom categories.
    Version: 0.9.9.2
    Author: Eran Miller
    Author URI: http://eranmiller.com
    License: GPL2
    */

I de-activated and re-installed and still do not have a calendar image?
What can we do to resolve this? Thanks!

All I can suggest is that you deactivate and delete the AEC, then install a fresh download of the plugin and let me know how that works.

    We’re getting closer….Hang in there please. 🙂
I’m thinking it has something to do with a Page set-up rather than the plug-in. When I create a page to display the calendar how should that look? [calendar]??? I’ll buy you an ice cream if we resolve this….

It has to be the plugin, because the version number being displayed on the front-end is different than the version you are saying is installed.
And for the full list of options please refer to the plugin homepage.

I see you got the calendar to work. Please mark this thread “Resolved”

    Thanks!

p.s. I like Black Cherry ice cream 🙂

LOL – it was a larger issue related to a permalink or something. It was also affecting theme installations – something about a setting pointing to this blog and an older one I had. It got deleted and magically all themes and plug-ins began working again…

Thanks for the continued support you gave…great plug-in!

    Sarah
