Ajax Edit Comments plugin -> Mb_convert_encoding error

    Hi I am using the latest WordPress 2.3 version, but I can’t seem to get the Ajax edit comments plugin to work.

    With only the plugin activated, the deleting button works, but as soon as I want to edit a comment I get:

    “Fatal error: Call to undefined function: mb_convert_encoding() in /home/golden/public_html/daverline/ffxi/weblog/wp-content/plugins/wp-ajax-edit-comments/wp-ajax-edit-comments.php on line 565”

    On the author’s page, there is indeed a statement that you need to have mb_convert_encoding enabled, but as I have no clue what it means and how to activate it…

    The link on the author’s page didn’t add much help, nor does a google search gave me any solution.

    Is there anyone who encoutered the same problem or knows how I can get this plugin to work?
