    I had someone help me set up wordpress a little while ago. It is hosted on bluehost. They DNS to point to their domain. after i registered a domain name and changed the DNS, i went into wordpress so i could change the options and move all the links and such over to the new domain name. i had no idea what i was doing, and i changed the wordpress address (URI) and blog address (URI) to the WRONG THING (stupid me…. grumble grumble grumble…) help would be much appreciated in fixing my stupid mistake.

    If you have access to phpMyadmin change the site_url and home values in the wp_options table (or whatever your rpefix is). Follow this guide: http://www.tamba2.org.uk/wordpress/site-url/

    well, it just started working again. we messed around in the phpMyadmin and *thought* we got it working, alas, we didn’t changed the righ things, but to no avail.
    then we waited… and watched… and i guess it decided that it wanted to work again, so it did
