Can you check if there are any PHP errors in your log files, or ask your web host to do so if that’s not something you can check yourself? It sounds like the publishing process terminated unexpectedly.
If you want to try and republish, you’ll need to clear the pending status manually. We’re going to add a feature in a future version to clear that status, but for now you can do so by manually removing the post meta values for those posts. There’s further instructions on that here: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/apple-news-status-na-pending
Thanks.

I just talked to my hosting company and there is no entry in my php error log from today or yesterday…
Can you please remove the post meta values as I described and see if you can republish these posts successfully now?

Bradford,
As you advised I successfully removed the post meta.. and now all articles were unpublished again in the plugin… I took the first one on the list and published it… it gave me a SUCCESS message and then again a PENDING and did not show up on the iCloud Publishers Dashboard both in DRAFTS FROM CMS and PUBLISHED ARTICLES… as before I am attaching the screenshots… Please advise…
Can you please provide some additional information?
– Where is your site hosted?
– What theme are you using?
– What plugins do you have installed?
– What version of WordPress are you using?
Thanks.

I think you might have misunderstood one of my questions. What other plugins do you have installed in addition to Apple News?
Thanks.

Bradford,
Have you managed to figure out anything from all the information I sent you?
Please advise…
Thanks
We won’t be able to help you any further at this time. With the very high number of plugins you have installed, there are too many potential points of conflict to test. We’re not familiar with your custom theme or your web host, so we don’t have anything to offer in that regard. Without logging into your environment and troubleshooting, there are too many potential points of conflict here and that level of support is well out of scope for what we can offer.
In a future version of the plugin, we’re looking to enhance the debug mode to help automate the troubleshooting process in situations like this. In the meantime though, we won’t be able to sort out why this isn’t working for you. This isn’t a widespread issue and no one else is reporting your specific condition. We just don’t have enough information here to offer anything substantive.
We’ll leave this thread open until which time we can enhance our debug mode to help you troubleshoot further.
Version 1.1.2 was just released which now supports remote images. Please set Use Remote Images to ‘yes’ in the plugin settings under Settings > Apple News > Advanced Settings.
This will allow the Apple News API to retrieve images remotely from your site rather than bundle them with the request, which will eliminate this potential error with your web host.
