After Update Plugin couses WP White screen with this from error_log
PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[‘ in /*****/wp-content/plugins/featured-authors-widget/featured-authors-widget.php on line 172

Yes, my client’s website also has the WP white screen of death post after the recent update.

Disabled the plugin by renaming the plugin folder on the server to bring the site back up.
