In the subscribe2->Settings page under the Appearance tab if using the shortcode, or if you are using the Widget it’s in the Widget settings in the Appearance->Widgets page.

sorry I don’t see where in the Subscribe 2 widgets settings I set where the subscriber is taken after they enter their email to subscribe.
2) also where do I set the page they are referred to once they confirm their subscription via clicking on the link they are sent.

In Appearance -> Widgets, click on the Subscribe2 widget in the sidebar to open it up and there you can adjust the settings included the redirect location.
After confirming subscription your users are sent to the default Subscribe2 page containing the form. This is set on the main Subscribe2 settings page.
