After registering, activation link redirecting

    Hi there,

    I have a form made with UM and everything is working fine (seems like a great plugin). The only problem I’m running into is when the user clicks “Activate your Account”, they’re not redirected to my “Thankyou for registering” page but their account is activated when I check Users. There’s an index.html in there as a placeholder for this site, could that be the reason?

    Oh, I don’t have permission yet to post a URL publicly, is there a way I can get it to you privately.

    Oops, wrong language. I should have said Activation link in email not working. In UM settings, I have “URL redirect after e-mail activation” set to point to a Thank You page on the site, that’s the part thats not working. In the email I get after registering, when I click the “Activate your Account” button, it just goes to the index page of the site and not to the page I specified in the UM settings.

    Hi @gjconker,

    Please make sure that you have postname permalinks in Settings -> Permalinks and doesn’t have index.html in your URL.

    Check that you have the latest 2.0.29 version of the Ultimate member installed.
    Do a quick conflict test and see if some other plugins or your theme causing this issue.
    Here is the doc on how to do a conflict test if you are not sure how to do it.
