By default, Slimstat tracks clicks on ALL outbound links (different hostname). What do you need exactly?
Hi, Thanks for your reply. I need to track links like this one:
Manifest the Power of Surrender Package
6 empowering products to help you manifest success, happiness and pleasure in all areas of your life from Dr. Judith Orloff’s Manifest the Power of Surrender Package
Slimstat already tracks those, either as outbound links, assuming your domain is not drjudithorloff.com, or as internal links, if it is. Then you can set the appropriate filters in the admin, to only get those links (permalink contains AP.aspx) in your reports. Does this help?
Thanks. Do you mean these should show up in the box entitled “Recent Outbound Links”?
If the domain is different from the one where Slimstat is running, yes.
Well that is the case and I’ve tried clicking on a link but it didn’t show up in “Recent Outbound Links” or anywhere else.
What version of Slimstat are you using? Can you post the your website’s URL?
I just clicked on the banner on top, the one you were mentioning in your original post. Analyzing the network activity, IE sent an “outbound link” tracking request back to the server, and the server replied with a 200 OK code and the corresponding pageview ID, which means the outbound link was tracked without any problems. Can you confirm?
Hi Camu,
Thank you – yes it’s tracking just fine. Thanks for all your help.
