    Does anyone have any ideas for an easier solution to transferring the submenus from the old website to the new one, without it looking so clumsy?

    Are there any better ways to display those menus?

  • So you’re planning on adding a link for each menu page on the “Allergen Menu by Restaurant” page? IMO a much better design than the long submenus on the old site. There’s not, unfortunately, an easy way to convert all of your submenu links into links on the page, you’ll just have to code it by hand.

    What you can do, too, for easier navigation for your users is group the menus on the page in alpha order, then at the top of the page, have links that jump down to the part of the page that starts with that letter. For example, at the top of the page:
    A B C D E …
    Then clicking on C would jump the user down to the part of the page where the restaurants starting with C are located. You can read about how to set up local links here.
