At a glance it looks as though the plugin is not set up according to WordPress standards.
Please provide a download link to the plugin you need to configure.

Easy one first.
BuddyPress Docs doesn’t declare its non-standard text domain.
Enter the text domain and slug as “bp-docs” and this bundle is fine.
Paste in this full XML via the Setup tab if you’re unsure.
Newsletter plugin is more of a mess. I’ll post that shortly.

Tricker one.
The newsletter plugin has some junk language files at emails/languages
.
The following config ignores those files:

Sorry Tim,
I did paste the XML you posted in BuddyPress Docs but I still see:
Additional files found
This bundle isn’t fully configured, so we don’t know what the following files are for. Click the setup tab to complete the bundle configuration.

About BuddyPress Docs:
I copied the 24 lines of the XML document and pasted them in Setup, XML Setup and hit load config. Confirmation: OK Bundle configuration saved.
I now see some blocked paths in the Advanced tab and hit Save config.
After that I go to Groups> Docs and still see this picture (untranslated):
http://ruilkringdelftwestland.nl/wp-content/uploads/2017/05/BuddyPress-Docs-2.gif
I see no translation

BuddyPress Docs:
In file info Loco says:
Binary file missing
We can’t find the binary MO file that belongs with these translations.
Out of sync with template
PO file has different source strings to “bp-docs.pot”. Try running Sync before making any changes.
PO file is writeable
You can update these translations directly from the editor to the file system.

Directory is writeable
The containing directory is writeable by ruilkrid, so you can add new files in the same location.

Does it make sense to try to run Sync? Where can I do that?

Sync is done from the PO editor view.
I would avoid syncing the author-supplied files. They will be overwritten the next time you update the buddypress-docs plugin. I suggest you make your own custom translations instead.
You could start by copying the Dutch PO file. Sync it. Save it. Then you should have a valid MO file in a safe location.
