Advanced Registration Workflow and User Control Panel

Hi,

i’m looking for a way to integrate users a bit more into a wordpress site. They should be able to send in posts and see a list of their own posts with editing capabilitites without having to get comforatble with the wordpress backend. I’d rather like to have that all within the frontend UI.

Any idea if this is possible without going into real customization pain? Any plugins around that do stuff like that? I basically know all this form plugins like gravity forms to send in posts but i haven’t seen any that allow some kind of frontend editing and stuff.
