Hi courageousnerd,
Thanks for reaching out.
The in-feed placement can show ads between your category pages like: https://courageousnerd.com/category/film/
For placing ads within articles I suggest using the content placement. There is also a troubleshooting section appended in the manual since some themes have different methods to generate their content.
I also noticed ad spots build into your theme. To gain full control here I suggest using manual placements and their shortcodes to manage these spots as well and have the advantage to control all placements at one place.
Please let me know if you need anything else.
Best regards,
Henning
Hi Henning,
Thank you for responding to my query. I’ve attempted to use the content placement as you suggested and see no change on my end. Is it the same for you?
As for the ad spots, I am unfamiliar with those. Could you explain what you mean in further detail?
All the best,
CN
Hi courageousnerd,
As for the ad spots, I am unfamiliar with those. Could you explain what you mean in further detail?
Sure, on your theme settings (or customizer) you might see options to place ads. These are pre-defined spots on your theme (like the one in your footer) created by the theme developer to provide simple access for advertising.
You can make use of these pre-defined spots and the power of Advanced Ads while creating manual placements within the plugin and use their shortcodes again in these pre-defined spots. This brings the benefits of using the theme options managed completely trough Advanced Ads.
I hope this was more understandable.
Best regards,
Henning
