Now I get this errors and I do not know how to fix it. I have been playing around trying to fix it and I am stuck. Seems like the add metatags- Plugin I have installed previous to the facebook fix, does not go well with it together… Deactivating metatags wont help much.
The data is screwed up. description is empty:

turns out, the app id missing was another plugin. That caused this. But the problem remains. The description is nonsense still

Where are you seeing those errors? Without providing a URL, I can’t even begin to try any basic troubleshooting.

But if my plugin is causing some sort of conflict, I suggest using a different one.

I’m sorry, I thought that the URL was there :

    http://aynaragarcia.de/depression-um-den-abgrund-herum

The messages were from facebook debugger.

I have now found a way to get correct thumbnails and data. I had to deactivate your plugin.
turns out, that the metatags plugin created its own og tags that did not work properly before, because of url problems that got fixed along the way.
