• Admin users logins are not working, saying the username and password is incorrect. I have manually updated passwords, and still get this error. When creating new users, they are unable to login.

We are also using the Members plugin, don’t know if there is conflict there.

Once WP-Members is deactivated, all logins work.

    Please help.

If you deactivate the plugin and all logins work, then it’s one of two settings that are not being fully understood.

If moderated registration is used, keep in mind that all users need to be activated. If you implement this on an existing site, then none of the existing users will be viewed as activated (the plugin does not make assumptions). See: https://rocketgeek.com/plugins/wp-members/docs/registration/moderating-registration/

If you’ve enabled the feature setting “Activation link” or “Confirmation Link,” this functions similarly to moderated registration in that your users have to be confirmed. However, it is a new (essentially, experimental) setting and is not as mature as the above and for what you described, it may not be ready for how you’re using it. If this setting is enabled, I would recommend deactivating it. There are going to be some significant changes in the next two releases that will bring it into maturity, but for now in situations where users are created manually and there are multiple existing admins, it doesn’t account for those.

I’m pretty sure one of those is the issue.
