    Hello!
    In the plugin settings:
I set the default post status to “preview revise”
Set all the checkboxes for the admin (add/edit/delete/PUBLISH)
As for the other roles the can only (add/edit/delete). Their posts are published only when the admin gets an e-mail.. reviews the post then either publishes it or not. –> WORKS

When the admin tries to add a post the post status shall be publish, instead it is also “preview revise” and the admin has to publish the post manually.–> THE PROBLEM

This used to work just fine until the last update or I might have done something wrong I don’t know any help?

Also how do I disable the plugin update because I have made some changes to some files that I do not want to lose. (I manually changed the version to 3.0.10 in the frontier-post file but this didn’t help).

    Thank you! 🙂

    Hi,

Frontier Post does not auto update, unless you have installed another plugin that forces this.

Frontier Post works like most plugins, it suggest when there is a new (stable) version is available, but you have to do it manually.

Read here about Automatic updates of WordPress

As for your problem, the administrator will have to change status manually – next version will have a new capability “Can Pending” and by disabling this for the admin, the admin can get Publish as only option.

I expect to release a new version within the next couple of weeks, that also will support custom taxonomies, custom post types and custom fields. However custom fields will require the ability to code some php, by adding a filter/action to your function.php (theme)

Good job! Looking forward to the new release! Good luck!

This is now included in the new version 3.3.2 – You will have to install it manually, I would like some users to test it, before i make it the stable release
