• This is my second website that I am using wordpress for. My first one was setup as a website, so I didnt mind what the admin panel looked like since I was the only one accessing it. This website that I am working on now will have my members using the admin panel to write posts and such. I am trying to get my admin page to look as close as possible to the rest of the website and I do not really know where to start.
I opened up some of the wp-admin files and was going to change the style sheet to the one of my site and change all of the div tags to get the initial layout but I after starting I realized that the admin page probly has differant and extra styles that it would be missing. Has anyone done this before or know where I might be able to start to get my admin panel to look like the artiseer layout that I designed?

  • Have you tried using a Theme that has front-page posting capability, such as P2?

Otherwise, you’re going to have a VERY difficult time getting the back-end to resemble the front-end. (And DON’T EVER CHANGE CORE FILES!)
