• In 2.7.1, the navigation bar in the admin interface displays over the edge of the editor. It also displays over the edge of any other content that is shown in the main content area of the admin interface.

I’m using Firefox 3.0.6 on Linux.

  • Try another browser, if it’s the same then it’s something specific to your install.

If not, then it’s a possibly a linux / firefox issue, though unlikely…

    Process of elimination..

I tested this on Windows in IE 7.0 and did not have the problem.

I closed all WordPress tabs, cleared the cache, and restarted my browser. The problem continues, so it’s not cache related. I also have cleared out wp-content/uploads/js_cache/.

The only plugin installed is Akismet 2.2.3.

This problem didn’t occur before I updated from 2.6.3. I am certain that I copied over all the needed files:

    % diff -r wordpress newwordpress
    Only in wordpress: wp-config.php
    Only in wordpress/wp-content/themes: nice-wee-theme
    Only in wordpress/wp-content/themes: nice-wee-theme.1.3.zip
    Only in wordpress/wp-content/themes: vigilance
    Only in wordpress/wp-content/themes: vigilance.1.23.zip
    Only in wordpress/wp-content: uploads

Seems like an issue with Firefox to me.
