• This is my site [ redundant link deleted ]

I’m having an issue with my WooCommerce store and wondered if you could take a look.

The problem is that I’m no longer receiving the admin **New Order** email notifications when someone places an order. Customers are still receiving all of their order emails as expected.

I have tested a test email from the admin backend via a test mail plugin, and I received it successfully. However, I’m not receiving any new order notification emails at [ email deleted ].

    Can anyone solve the issue?

    Hi @cracklecode!

    Thank you for reaching out.

Since customers are receiving their order emails correctly and test emails sent from your site are also being delivered, it appears that email sending is generally working.

To help investigate why the New Order admin notification is not being received, could you please:

    • Confirm that WooCommerce → Settings → Emails → New Order is enabled.
    • Verify that the recipient email address is correct.
    • Try changing the recipient email address to a different email account and see whether the notification is received there.
    • Check whether the notification emails are being filtered into a spam or junk folder.
    • Share your WooCommerce System Status Report (WooCommerce → Status → Get system report).
    • Let us know if you are using any email-related plugins or customizations.

Once we have this information, we’ll be happy to take a closer look.

    Hi,

    >>Confirm that WooCommerce → Settings → Emails → New Order is enabled.
    Answer: Yes enabled

    >>Verify that the recipient email address is correct.
Answer: Yes recipient email address is correct (jamiethomson@brandnewcopy.com)

    >>Try changing the recipient email address to a different email account and see whether the notification is received there.
Answer: If I changed the New Order email from ‘jamiethomson@brandnewcopy.com’ to my gmail ID ‘nothingtested001@gmail.com’ then I got email. But I have tested to send a test mail from the site to this email ‘jamiethomson@brandnewcopy.com’ and I got the test mail.

    >>Check whether the notification emails are being filtered into a spam or junk folder.
Answer: I have checked, no inbox or spam or junk folder

    >>Let us know if you are using any email-related plugins or customizations.
    Answer: No

    >>Share your WooCommerce System Status Report (WooCommerce → Status → Get system report).
    Answer: See attached below

    Hi @cracklecode!

Thank you for performing those tests and sharing the system status report.

Based on the results, WooCommerce appears to be generating and sending the New Order notification correctly. The fact that the notification is received when the recipient address is changed to a Gmail account indicates that the email is being sent successfully from the site.

Since test emails sent to [ deleted, really do not post emails here again ] are received, but WooCommerce New Order notifications are not, this suggests the issue may be related to how those specific messages are being handled by the recipient mail server.

As an additional test, could you try changing the New Order email subject under WooCommerce → Settings → Emails → New Order and then place a new test order to see if the notification is received? This can help determine whether the messages are being filtered based on their content or subject line.

If the issue persists, I would recommend contacting your email hosting provider and asking them to review their mail logs for [ deleted, really do not post emails here again ] They should be able to determine whether the messages are being delivered, filtered, rejected, or quarantined before reaching the mailbox.

If available, you may also want to check your email provider’s message trace or email logs for any entries related to the missing order notifications.

Copying that data here will not and cannot work here. It just creates a mess that has no value.
