I am one of the admins behind http://www.occupiedlondon.org/blog

We have been very happy with wordpress and the blog was running very smoothly until recently. In the past days however we’ve had many 404 errors appear, plus a weird problem with creating new posts: clicking publish, or save draft would invert the post to its older status, say a few minutes ago, if that makes sense.

In addition, after upgrading to 3.2, in the hope that this would resolve the problems above, the admin interface has been broken: we can only see the main dashboard (stats et al) and no way to access posts, comments etc. at all. The admin page has a huge gap at the very top, and you need to scroll down a while to get to see the stats etc.

Many thanks in advance to however tries to help – more than happy to offer clarifications etc of course.

just deleted most plugins and the problem was resolved

    cheers!

I’m having the same issue. I’ll try to delete some plugins.

same problem, again – it seems to come and go. The admin interface is once again broken. I have deleted nearly all the plugins, and still nothing.

    Any ideas, anyone?

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

I have just tried all three of your proposals esmi (thanks!) but no luck. What else could it be?

Have you tried repairing your database?

    how would i do that?

It’s usually carried out using a tool like Phpmyadmin. It might be worth asking your hosts about this.

I’m having a similar problem, but cannot access the Admin page at all and instead get a fatal error every time I try to access the Admin Dashboard or the published site – this started immediately after I clicked the automatic install button for WordPress 3.2.

    http://site.destinationgreen.com/

Fatal error: Call to undefined method Arras_Widget_Tag_Cloud::WP_Widget_Tag_Cloud() in /home/content/22/6620222/html/wp-content/themes/arras/library/widgets.php on line 404

Should I just reinstall WordPress manually through my GoDaddy Database? I haven’t tried that yet, but am posting here because I’m wondering if this is a larger issue or perhaps temporary.

    Thank you for any help/advice!

@junelisar: your issue is completely unrelated. Please post a new topic.
