• Hello,

Without having made any changes to my site, I’ve just discovered a very strange situation.
The site is used by a photography club to store members’ photos and display them based on various criteria (all photos, photos by theme, and photos by author).
I created a new page for members to vote on contest photos, using the code [wppa type="slide" album="3" anon] so that everyone could cast their vote.
That’s where the oddity lies. When I log in as a member, I can see all the photos in the relevant album, but I can only open my own photos—not the others’, which I can only see in the scrolling strip.
If I log in with a different username, I encounter the exact same problem, even though I’m not logged in under my own name.
In fact, I realized that the system still treats me as the admin, regardless of which user is logged in.
I’ve installed the latest version and tried several solutions—such as regenerating thumbnails—but I’m at a loss.
    Do you have any ideas?
    Thanks in advance.

It looks like you have a serverside page caching feature enabled.
If you want caching, use the wppa embedded caching on pages where wppa shortcodes are.
This caching takes the user dependant data into account.

Example: [wppa type="slide" album="3" anon cache]

Thank you, Jacob, it works fine now.
Nevertheless, I don’t understand this event and how it came about.
