• This is probably a simple fix but I can’t for the life of me figure out why all of my wordpress emails (whether it’s theme updates, orders, contact form submissions, etc) go to a gmail email address that isn’t listed anywhere on my admin profile or settings. I own the email so it’s still coming to me but it’s not my brand’s email so it gets complicated when trying to respond to contact requests and orders. I’ve literally looked everywhere and even checked to make sure there isn’t a forwarding set up in gmail. HELP!

  • Hi,

Do you install any email related plugins? Maybe their configurations make all emails go to your gmail. WordPress emails usually are sent to administrator’s address.

thanks for the response, Ralph. No plugins installed! I know that all emails should be sent to admin’s email which is why I’ve checked every single spot I can imagine that has my email recorded to ensure I didn’t miss anything. I guess I need to keep looking. it’s SO frustrating!
