Admin dashboard missing features

    Hi all,

    I’ve been added to a site and given the role Administrator. I’ve confirmed this under the Dashboard > Users tab where I’ve definitely been listed as Admin.

    However, my dashboard seems incomplete. I’m missing Appearence,Tools, Plugin tabs that I’ve seen in other screenshots.

    We have Elementor and when I try to access Elementor Theme Builder it says Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.

    I tried to update Elementor under the plugins but when I pressed update it said I didn’t have permission to update it and now the update button for Elementor has disappeared.

    How do I fix this?

    First, check whether you have a single-site installation or a multisite installation. With a multisite installation, you can be an administrator of one of the sites within it, but you also have limited permissions compared to a single-site installation.

    If that’s not the case, it could indicate that something is wrong with the permissions in the project. You mentioned you were added – why not talk to the person who added you there? A second administrator might be helpful in checking this out.
