• I have created a custom template and installed it on a clients website. The template works fine on both my installation on my server and their installation on their server.

The problem is the admin “blank screen of death” seems to be a reoccurring theme on their server, which leads me to believe it is something server related. They are using a server that hosts their “create a shop” store.

I tried fresh installation of wordpress x 3. I have tried using other templates, it just seems to keep happening.

    Any ideas?

Not that you should need it, but the site is: http://www.klbdesignsonline.com/shoppe/

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

I have not “technically” tried all of that, but then again I have since every fresh installation using the Twenty-Eleven theme with no plug ins installed have been doing this.

I will try all of the steps you listed, altho I feel that it is pointless.

Ok-I walked through everything that you listed. I even deleted a couple of plugins I decided I didn’t need.

    All works well…for me

My client says that she can’t access it. She was using IE, then tried Opera, then she downloaded Firefox and she says all of them give her the blank screen. I asked her to download Crap Cleaner and run it, get rid of cookies, etc-still same problem.

Is there something on her computer that would cause this problem ?
