Admin bar not showing

while testing around with alot role plugins i eventually decided to use adminimize which works great, but now when ever a contributer user logs in they only see the admin bar back end not on the front, i deactivated the adminimize and it still wouldnt show, is it possible when testing with those other plugins its changed the overiden or something or is there another place i can turn it on, or show a link on my website to only show for the contributers so they cn gain access to back end with out typing in the url?
