Adjusting the Header size

    I am new to WP and only have limited knowledge on CSS.

    I am looking to shrink the height of my header to 55px through the Jetpack CSS editor. I have read a bunch of threads on the topic and typed in what I think will work and am having no look.

    Anybody out there that can help me out?

    Hi there!

    Do you want to shrink the height of the entire header element…or have you put an image in there you are trying to adjust?

    If it’s the entire header try this:

    #branding {
  height:  55px;
}

    Just the header element, and that worked
