Adjusting the filtering dropdown functionality

How/where do I adjust functionality for the dropdown filters? I want them to act like they used to, where filtering by Teacher for example would just go to /teacher/(the teacher).

For example, on this page…
https://update.theroad.org/series/the-leverage-of-joy-a-study-of-philippians/
Clicking “Steve Holt” on one of the sermons, goes to
https://update.theroad.org/teacher/steve-holt/

But if you’re on this page…
https://update.theroad.org/series/the-leverage-of-joy-a-study-of-philippians/
… and change the Teacher dropdown to Steve Holt, it does this…
https://update.theroad.org/series/the-leverage-of-joy-a-study-of-philippians/?wpfc_preacher=steve-holt

I don’t want it to tack on the wpfc_preacher taxonomy on the end of the URL. I want it to just go to /teacher/steve-holt
