I’m using the Aspire theme, and I’ve begun modifying it.

I reduced the sidebar from its default 2-column layout to a single column of info, but now due to CSS spacing parameters there’s an empty column in the sidebar area.

This throws off the layout of the site.

When I try to adjust the widths attached to #sidebars, #sidebar-left or #sidebar-right it either completely hides the existing column or kicks it down to the bottom of the page.

I’m not very CSS literate and I’m not having any luck figuring this out; help please!

Unless you provide a link to a page demonstrating the problem, no one will be able to offer much in the way of specific help.

I’m having the same issue. I want widgets and ads in the right sidebar. I toyed with the width settings and all of a sudden nothing will appear in the right sidebar. If I adjust the site to have a left sidebar, it appears fine regardless of the width. So strange. I would like a right sidebar because the left sidebar isn’t doing it for me visually.

    Thanks!
