Adjust Cron Job Frequency?

    Dear Support,

    We noticed that FluentCRM contributes to a high CPU usage on our site via cron jobs.

    Looking at the Cron events, we can see that the hook ‘fluentcrm_scheduled_five_minute_tasks’ is running every minute rather than every 5 minutes:

    When we try to edit this event and change it to 5 minutes, the new setting doesn’t seem to take or be saved:

    Can you please advise:
    – whether we are allowed to make this systems change, and
    – how we should make this change.

    Hello @beachholiday,

    Thank you for reporting this and for sharing the screenshots.

    We reviewed this, and it looks like a bug. The fluentcrm_scheduled_five_minute_tasks event is intended to run every 5 minutes, but in the current scheduler registration it appears to be attached to FluentCRM’s every-minute recurrence instead.

    Also, changing it manually from a cron management plugin may not stay saved reliably. FluentCRM manages and re-registers its own cron events, so a manual change from the Cron Events screen may be overwritten.

    We have forwarded this to our development team for further review and a fix.
