We are not sure what caused this and is troubleshooting. We’d like to rule out the possibility of a bug from this plugin. The other thing we’d like to have input from you is what WooCommerce event triggers ‘addToCart’. Is it added_to_cart or something else?

The addToCart event is triggered whenever a customer adds a product to cart. Are you seeing multiple addToCart events being triggered on a single usage of the add to cart button? If so, then is it possible that you’re using multiple Facebook pixel-related extensions on your site? If so, then it may be why you’re seeing multiple addToCart event triggers.

For us to understand your setup further, could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

Plugin wise, we use Facebook for WooCommerce.

We do have two pixels integrated. One by this plugin, one manually added by using the facebook_woocommerce_pixel_init hook.

Hi @wpshushu,

Thanks for the additional information.

As you’re using two different pixels on your site this could be causing confusion with tracking and initiating duplicate tracking events. This is something that the Facebook Pixel Helper is indicating within your screenshot.

We’d suggest removing the custom pixel integration you have implemented and only using the Facebook For WooCommerce integration. This should then only track the cart event once using a single-pixel integration.
