AddToCart Event missing some deduplication parameters

    We are getting 4 of these issues under the Diagnostics of Events Manager as below:
    AddToCart Event missing some deduplication parameters
    InitiateCheckout Event missing some deduplication parameters
    PageView Event missing some deduplication parameters
    Purchase Event missing some deduplication parameters
    All have this description:
    You’re sending AddToCart/InitiateCheckout/PageView/Purchase events through both your pixel and the Conversions API, but they’re not being deduplicated properly because not enough of these events are receiving an event_id parameter. Event instances sent without an event_id parameter cannot be deduplicated.
    The PixelYourSite Plugin looks set up correctly and these have appeared in the last 10 days.
    Can anyone offer any advise to us regarding fixing these?

    Hello,

    The best thing you can do is to test your Conversion API events and see if they miss any data. The second video on this page can help: https://www.pixelyoursite.com/facebook-conversion-api-capi

    I am sure that if these events are configured with our plugin only, no parameter is missing. If there is another install for the same pixel, the errors can be genuine, and the solution is to remove that extra pixel.

    In fact, I just checked your website, and you have the pixel installed twice.

    There are also some potential issues related to your cache plugin. You probably need to delete/clear the cache.

    Hi There
    Thank you, we found that the Product Feed Plugin also had the Pixel added, we have removed that and retested, all seems well, so think that was it. We will keep an eye on it and come back if we still have any issues.
